You know, there are alternatives to gasoline.
Ethanol. Made from corn. We eat corn. Lots of it. Cows, pigs, and chickens eat corn. We eat lots of them, too. We shouldn't use food as fuel, it will mean less food to eat and folks will starve.
Hydrogen. Awesome potential. The only byproducts of hydrogen are heat and water. Unfortunately the battery technology is not where it needs to be for hydrogen to be a useful alternative to gasoline. It will be in the future, though. Bet on hydrogen in the long run.
Which brings us to ...
Electricity. Electric cars have been around for a century. Today's gas/electric hybrids and tomorrow's totally electric car will help reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and lead us to a healthier planet Earth!
